Trinidad Gonzalez Herrera, age 99, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away under the loving care of her family on January 27, 2018. She is survived by her beloved children Flavia Gonzalez (the late Manuel Bueno), Socorro (the late Francisco) de Meraz, Jose Jaime (Tomasa Chaidez de Gonzalez) Gonzalez, Delia Beatriz (Tomas) Rodriguez, Jose Romeo (Josefina) Gonzalez, Fausto Genaro (Maria) Gonzalez, Hector Gabriel (Silvia) Gonzales, Elda Ines (Esteban) Sanchez and Alma Delia (Esteban) Martinez; loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; cherished many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Gonzalez and Maria de Jesus Herrera; children Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez (the late Bernado) de Cordova and Eloisa Zenaida Gonzalez; four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation Sunday, January 4, 2018 from 4 to 9 pm; funeral prayers Monday, January 5, 9:15 am at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. ( North on 76th Ave.), Elmwood Park.
