Thomas Paul Petzel, age 72; beloved husband of Andrea Zlabis; loving father of Michelle (Douglas) Kambich and Brian Petzel; dear grandfather of Ryan and Daniel Kambich; fond brother of Gerald, Mark (Jane), Mary (the late Robert) Marchant, Anne House and James; brother-in-law of Sandra (Alan) Steinle; dear uncle of many. Thomas was a professor of Psychology at Loyola University of Chicago for over 35 years. He was distinguished for his administrative service to the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office. Thomas was an avid traveler as well as an award winning amateur photographer. Memorial Services are being planned for a future date.
