Synnove Davis, nee Thompson, age 94, passed away March 11, 2021 at her home in Elmwood Park.  She was born in Spind, Norway to Thom and Sigrid Thompson.  She married James E. Davis.

Her legacy will continue on through her children James, John (Juanita), Joseph and Judith (Scott Friend).  She was a loving grandmother to John, Alison (Benjamin Parker) and Sam (Jennifer),  Kiersten, Cynthia and Mary (Lee Braggs) Friend. She was blessed with three great-grandchildren that brought her so much joy, Caitlyn, Hudson and Ryan.  She was blessed and encouraged by two sisters-in-law, Thelma and Carol Thompson.

Synnove was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; in-laws, James and Henrietta Davis; and dear brothers, Rangveld (Bob) and Ingolv (Tom) Thompson.

Visitation Sunday March 21st from 3 – 9 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (North on 76 ^th Ave.), Elmwood Park.  And again Monday, March 22nd from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment Irving Park Cemetery.
