Sandra Gatz 88 (nee Casella) passed away peacefully, February 11, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born on July 28th 1934, in Chicago, Illinois.

Beloved Mother of Kenneth, Toni and Tina (Dell). She was proceeded in death by her Sons; William, Greg and Randall (Libby).

Dear sister of the late Geri (George) Bartels, Rita (Charlie) Carr, and Marion (Donald Feltes) Munson.

Cherished grandmother of Derrick, Randy, Christopher and Alex Gatz, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many.

An Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews who loved her.

Dear lifelong friends, Maryann Cartwright and Marge Walsh.

She adored spending time with family and friends and loved the outdoors.  Including her favorite memories of living in Pompano Beach, Florida, or spending endless days of fishing, especially family vacations up north. Always trying to catch the big one, only using a bobber and chubs.

The astrological sign of a Leo, she couldn't get enough animal print clothing or decorations, especially Lions and loved puzzles of any kind.

Sandy often spoke of the years she lived in Laughlin Nevada as some of her favorite times. She never turned down an opportunity to hit the slot machines in pursuit of that ever elusive Jackpot. But mostly she just loved, loving us.

She was a proud, determined, and willful woman, as well as kind and generous.

She will be remembered as always having a smile on her face and a joke up her sleeve. Even up until the very end.
