Russell Adams, beloved son of the late Walter and the late Lorraine; loving brother of Steve, Karen (Chuck), and Leon; awesome uncle of Scott, Melissa (Dan) Kelly and Zachary; wonderful great-uncle of four beautiful girls and one amazing young man; fond cousin of many.
Russell was a loving uncle, great brother, and a thoughtful and generous soul. He was a story teller, a traveler, and loved to play Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. He was also an avid "Game of Thrones" viewer, and most of all a Cubs fan through and through. With Russells dedication and help, his family was able to start a compassionate homecare service for the elderly where he worked hard for many caregivers and families. Russell also managed a warehouse for Nightingale Conant for almost 20 years. Russ had a passion for cooking and catering, often for large companies and businesses, planning get togethers and organizing meals with a creative artistic flair that was sure to wow his clients and guests. His generosity and kindness will be greatly missed by many.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to be held at 5 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park, IL. In honor of Russell's passion about cuisine, catered refreshments will available. For info, 708-453-1234.
