Rosemary Therese Bruner
(nee Filipp), age 93, a resident of Grayslake, IL since 2006,
formerly of Chicago and Elmwood Park, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21,
2022. She was born June 12, 1929 in Chicago, IL.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Walter 'Wally" Bruner; loving mother of Dennis
(Bonny) Bruner, Kathleen (late Rudolph "Rudy") Komin, Dan (Irene) Bruner, Rosemary (Norbert "Norb") Plessner, and Phil (Julie Keane) Bruner. She was the adored grandmother of nine,
great-grandmother of fifteen, fond step-grandmother of 3, and step-great-grandmother of 8. Devoted daughter of the late Charles and late Loretta (nee Lukow) Filipp; cherished sister of the
late Conrad (late Anita) Filipp, the late Donald (late Susie) Filipp, and the late Loretta "Bonnie" (late Tom) Wisniewski. Fond aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Rosemary grew up on Chicago's North Side. Rosemary worked for Pyle National Company and
Marshall Fields. Rosemary had a very full life with her loving family and many life-long friends.
She loved to read, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 9:00 AM at The Elms Funeral Home in
Elmwood Park, IL, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Elmwood
Park, IL. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
