Ronald Lee Olson, 75, of Elmwood Park, passed on July 3, 2023. Beloved husband for over forty years to the late Beth Leaette Olson (nee Beaumont); loving father of Erik Olson and Leaette (Scott) Caravello; cherished grandfather of Samuel Olson, Gabrielle, Madeline and Olivia Caravello; dearest brother of the late Laura, the late Elmer (Joy) and the late Richard (Ginny) Olson; brother-in-law of the late Judy, the late Carol (Wally) and Patty (the late John); dear uncle and great-uncle to many. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Virginia Olson. Ronald was cherished by many friends and will be missed by all.

Ronald proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the US Army.  After returning home he began a life-long career as an electrician, and was a member of Local 134 for over 40 years.

Visitation, Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral, Thursday, 10 a.m. at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park. Interment to follow, family and friends to meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL. Military Honors to begin at 12:30 p.m.
