Ronald F. Bell, Beloved son of the late Adelbert M. and Margaret Bell. Loving brother of Kathleene (the Late Gary) Witkus and the late Adelbert J. (Theresa) Bell. Fond uncle of Adelbert J. (Susan) Bell, Theresa Ann Czepiel, Michael Witkus, Jeffrey Witkus, Briana Witkus and David Long. Cherished cousin of Jan O'Malley. Devoted friend of Paula DeSalvo.

Ron was born, raised and died in Elmwood Park, IL. He graduated from Holy Cross High School. After serving in the US Marine Corps reserve, Ron worked the trade show circuit as a proud union carpenter specializing in carpet and flooring.

Ron loved the outdoors and enjoyed travel, fishing and golf. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, football and hockey and spent many enjoyable Sunday afternoons with a drink and a cigar watching football with his friends. He was an avid reader.

He had a unique sense of humor and liked to joke and play with his friends and relatives, especially his many nieces and nephews, whom he prayed for every night.

Visitation Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Prayers, Friday 9:15 a.m. at Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Avenue, Elmwood Park to St. Celestine Church for Mass of the Christian burial, 10:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
