Robert W. Kaczmarek Jr., affectionately known as Bob, age 59, of Elmwood Park, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Bob was the devoted longtime partner of Sallie Miller; the cherished brother of Cynthia (Joseph) Indurante, Cathleen Kaczmarek, Celeste (John) Robson, Carol Olsen, and Richard Kaczmarek; and the fun-loving uncle to Nicole Cucci, Kimberly Mendoza, Joseph Indurante, Michael Indurante, Janelle Iaccino, Antonio Iaccino, David Iaccino, Melissa Braun, Robert Vos Jr., Stephanie Suchowski, John Robson Jr., and Kyle Olsen. He was also a proud great-uncle to Nathan, Eliana, Alexia, Gabriella, Joseph, Arianna, Theodore, Francesca, Leonardo, Luciana, Charlotte, Liam, Macie, and Emmett.

For many years, Bob worked as a dedicated salesman in the commercial heating and air conditioning industry. He took great pride in his work, building strong relationships and earning the respect of clients and colleagues alike for his honesty, knowledge, and reliability.

A true jack of all trades, Bob had a deep mechanical talent and loved working on old cars. His knack for fixing just about anything amazed his family, and he even surprised them with his unexpected skills in sewing. He had a passion for NHRA Drag Racing, and he especially loved traveling to his favorite place—Maui, Hawaii. Whether casting a line off the shores of Lake Michigan or in the waters of the Pacific, fishing brought him peace and joy.

Growing up, Bob found strength and discipline through weightlifting and wrestling. In more recent years, he enjoyed relaxing Friday nights at Maria's Mexican Restaurant, always ready for a good margarita and great company.

Bob's unique spirit, kind heart, and fun sense of humor made him unforgettable to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 18, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Celestine Church, 3020 N. 76th Ct. Elmwood Park, a Memorial Visitation will take place following Mass, at 11:00 a.m., at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park. Interment will be private.
