Robert S. Covelli of Elmwood Park, IL. Born into eternal life January 27, 2015, age 74; beloved brother of Nancy (the late Paul) Accurso, nee Covelli; Fond uncle of Michael F. (Paula) Accurso, Paul J. Accurso, Janice L. (Scott) Sevon, David A. (Pamela) Accurso, James R. (Theresa) Accurso and Suzanne M. Accurso; preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Antoinette Covelli, nee Sproveri and his loving brother Michael F. Covelli; adored by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Robert was adored for his generous nature, love of movies, sports and contemporary comedians and musicians of his generation. Robert was lifelong Catholic. He was a 1958 graduate of Elmwood Park High School and attended University of Illinois and Northwestern University. Robert was the co-owner of Mr. Qwik Carwash at Chicago and Harding in Chicago and later retired from Senco Products after 23 years. Memorial Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W. Grand Ave. (North on 76th Ave.), Elmwood Park. Family and friends to gather Friday from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass, 10 a.m., at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1530 Jackson Ave, River Forest.
