With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved infant, Rheynera Elizabeth Kefer, born on August 8th, 2023 and taken too soon on August 1st, 2024. She was just one week away from celebrating her first birthday and baptism.

Rheynera loved music, singing, and dancing, and was adored by her entire family.

Rheynera brought immense joy to our lives during her brief time with us. Her bright eyes and sweet smile will be forever remembered.

Rheynera is survived by her loving parents, Tania De Jesus and Seth Kefer, and cherished siblings, Madison Kefer, Savanna Kefer, Scarlett Kefer, Serenity Kefer, Leonidus Gonzalez, Persephone Gonzalez and Elias Torres. They are also mourned by her Grandparents; Katharine Kefer, Margarita Hernandez, Abel De Jesus, Neyda De Jesus, Angel Rodriguez and Great Grandparents; Tomasa Roman, Blanca Maldonado and Jesus Maldonado, Aunt Sarah Cage, Uncle Scott Donathan and Anthony Cage, her titi Adeline Smith, Megan De Jesus, Elizabeth De Jesus, her tios' Eric De Jesus, Jonathan De Jesus, Abel De Jesus Jr, Collin Smith, her Godparents, titi Dianna Gomez, tio Alex Arroyo and so many other family members and friends.

Reunited with loved ones who passed before her; Grandpa Michael Kefer, Great Grandparents; Sanitago Hernandez, Carrie Hubbard, Robert Ome Adams, and her Great-Great grandmother Pura Maestre.

Although Rheynera's time with us was short, she will always hold a special place in all our hearts. Our grief is unfathomable, but we are grateful for every moment we had with our precious angel from God.

Rheynera's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who has provided support during their time of mourning.

Rest in peace, sweet Rheynera Elizabeth Kefer. You will always be our angel, watching over us from above.

Visitation, Monday, August 12, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76th Ave.) Elmwood Park, IL 60707. Family and Friends to meet, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at St. Viator Church 4170 W. Addison Street, Chicago, IL 60641 to join in the Funeral Mass that will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
