Cilia, Born June 28, 1942, at rest March 22, 2026 at the age of 83; beloved son of the late Anthony and Phyllis “Minnie” Cilia; cherished brother of Anthony Jr. (Jacqueline) and the late Sylvia (the late Charles) Marotti; loving uncle of Kathryn (Daniel) Monaghan, Matthew, and Douglas (Lisa) Mariotti; great-uncle of Daniel (Wendy) Monaghan, Michael Monaghan, Isabella Marotti, Lucian Marotti, and the late Megan Monaghan.
Ralph was a proud and dedicated business owner of M-K Signs, where he poured his heart into his work and built lasting relationships with those he served. He truly loved his business and took great pride in caring for his customers, always taking the time to get to know them and stay connected over the years. Ralph had a genuine love for people, and his warm, approachable nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Outside of his work, Ralph was an avid gardener with a special passion for his tomato plants, which he tended to with great care and pride. He also found joy in the kitchen, where he loved to cook and share meals with others, bringing people together through his generosity and hospitality.
Ralph will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the way he made others feel valued and welcome. He was also a proud United States Army veteran, a testament to his sense of duty and service to his country.
Visitation, Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76th Ave.) Elmwood Park. Lying in State, Friday, April 10, 2026 at Holy Virgin Martyrs Catholic Church 4157 Atlantic Ave., Schiller Park, IL 60176 from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:00 a.m. Interment Private.
