It is with great sadness that the family of Phillip Santiago announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the age of 59 years.

Born November 2, 1963, in Chicago, IL, Phillip spent his early years growing up in and around the Wicker Park neighborhood, where his father's barbershop was located.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith at St. Aloysius Parish in the Wicker Park Neighborhood of Chicago. Phillip was confident that he was a redeemed child of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Upon graduation from R. Clemente High School, Phillip attended a business school in Chicago and immediately afterwards joined the hospitality industry of Chicago for several years.

In the early 1990's, Phillip relocated to the Miami area where he began a new career in the Radiology-Oncology construction business as a salesman.  His job required a lot of traveling to other states like California and even to Canada.

Long known for his love for the movies and theatre, his sense of humor, kindness and generosity, but especially his concern for his elderly mother and several siblings.  Phillip will be greatly missed.

Phillip Santiago, the beloved son of Ana Maria and the late Juan Santiago. Dearest brother of Elpidio, Michael, Henry, Annie, Jenny, Nereida, Ephraim, Alvin, Saul, the late Samuel and the late Eddie. Cherished uncle of many.

Visitation, Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral Prayers will begin 9 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W.
