Paul E. Okulinski, 71, of Chicago, IL passed suddenly on November 14, 2016 in Key West, FL. Beloved husband of 45 years of Virginia "Ginny" (nee Alvarez); devoted father of Charles (Patricia) and Jeanette; cherished brother of Patricia (the late Tony) Tripoli and Jo Ann (Richard) Reksel; loving son-in-law of Chris Dounias; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and wonderful friend and mentor to many. Paul was born on August 1, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to Edward and Rose (Jordan) Okulinski. Raised in the Palmer Square neighborhood of Chicago, he was a lifelong Cubs fan. Paul was a proud U.S. Navy Seabee veteran, serving two tours in Viet Nam. He was a skilled crane operator and heavy machinery inspector with nearly 50 years experience in the field, and was a proud lifetime member of Operating Engineers Local 150.
