Nancy Rose Prange (nee Gabriele); born March 25 th , 1922 in Chicago, IL to the late Josephine & Antonio Gabriele; passed away at home, in the comfort of her family, on February 4 th , 2017; beloved wife of the late Clarence "Doc"; loving mother of Pepina "Pepi", Larry (Patricia), Terry (Nancy), Renata (Wayne), Jolana (Vito), and Jerry; devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren; adoring great grandmother, "GG", to 10 more; dear sister of Beatrice "Bea" Teer (and the late Donald), Gloria "Ollie" Rendleman (Ronald), and the late Joey Gabriele, Sam Gabriele, and Raymond Gabriele; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. A founding member of Saint Peter Canisius, Nancy spent much of her life supporting her Parish and Catholic faith. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education at DePaul University in 1943, and spent the next three decades teaching both elementary and religious education. She was a family-oriented woman who would "tell-you-like-it-is", and her strong-willed, loving personality will be missed by all. We love you, GG!
