Mary Wisnieski died the morning of December 1, 2013 with her sister Louise at her side. She was born December 9, 1931 the eldest child of John and Ethel (Sarzynski) Wisnieski. She was predeceased by her brothers Paul and Fred. She is survived by her sister Louise (Florian) Smoczynski of Madison, Wisconsin. Mary had attained degrees from The Art Institute of Chicago and the Ohio State University. She was an artist and a teacher, teaching art in the Oak Park School District for over 20 years. She was a devoted daughter and the best big sister. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral will be Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Avenue (north on 76th Ave.), Elmwood Park, IL 60707 to Saint Celestine Church 3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park, 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection. Interment Saint Adalbert Cemetery.
