Mary Ellen Henders (nee Burris), born October 20, 1941 and entered eternal life on April 9, 2014.  Beloved wife for 43 years to John "David" Henders.  Supportive and devoted mom to Debbie (Tony) Fini and Lynn (John) Matos; most dedicated, thoughtful and loving "B-Ma" to Johnny, Emily, Kameryn, Brandon, Nicolas and Jake. Wonderful big sister to Jim (the late Charlene) Burris, Peggy (the late Larry) O'Donnell and the late Suzanne Corcoran.  Caring aunt, sister-in-law and friend to many.  Mary Ellen attended Resurrection Grammar School and Siena High School.  She was a devoted Cubs fan and proud to be West Side Irish.  She especially enjoyed attending all her grandchildren's events and rarely missed one.  Mary Ellen dedicated herself to volunteering and giving to others.  Her care free nature and smile will be greatly missed.  She is now reunited with her parents, Walter and Eligia (Cummins) Burris and her sister Sue.  Visitation Sunday 3 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W. Grand Ave., (North on 76th Ave.) Elmwood Park to St. Celestine Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Celestine School or Misericordia Home would be appreciated.
