With profound sorrow and immense love, we announce the passing of our beloved Marijo Del Mundo Padilla, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 30, 2026, at the age of 42.

Born on October 21, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois, Marijo was the cherished daughter of Marires Del Mundo and Florito Padilla Jr. Her warmth, compassion, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Marijo was the devoted wife of Allan Manalo and the proud, loving mother of Angelo Manalo, who was the greatest joy and purpose of her life. She was also a beloved sister to Michelle Fuentes and Florito Padilla III, and a treasured daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend. Family was everything to Marijo, and she never missed an opportunity to remind those she loved how much they meant to her.

To know Marijo was to love her. She had an infectious laugh, an adventurous spirit, and a heart that overflowed with generosity. She was funny, outgoing, friendly, and effortlessly made people feel welcomed. Her ability to brighten any room and bring people together was a gift that will never be forgotten.

Marijo embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved the thrill of car racing, traveling to new places, discovering great food, and spending hours watching her favorite dramas. She was affectionately known as the family’s “marites,” always keeping in touch with everyone and making sure no one ever felt forgotten. Whether through a phone call, a text message, or a visit, she made it her mission to stay connected with the people she loved. Her laughter, conversations, and genuine care for others created lasting memories that her family and friends will forever cherish.

Marijo’s life was marked by extraordinary courage. After suffering a stroke in 2019, she faced every challenge with determination and hope. In 2023, she endured kidney failure, yet she continued to fight with remarkable strength. In July 2026, she suffered a second devastating stroke. Throughout every hardship, Marijo never gave up. Her resilience inspired everyone around her, and her unwavering love for her family remained constant until the very end.

While our hearts are broken by her loss, we find peace in knowing that Marijo is finally free from pain and resting in the loving embrace of God. Though her time with us was far too short, her legacy of kindness, resilience, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Allan Manalo; her beloved son, Angelo Manalo; her loving mother, Marires Del Mundo; her father, Florito Padilla Jr.; her dear sister, Michelle Fuentes; her brother, Florito Padilla III; and countless relatives and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Marijo’s life reminds us to laugh often, love deeply, stay connected with the people who matter most, and embrace every adventure life has to offer. Although we will miss her every day, we are forever grateful for the beautiful memories she gave us and the immeasurable love she shared.
