Maria “Cuca” Refugio Castaneda, 89, passed away Sunday, January 25. She now joins her beloved late husband, Daniel, in eternal rest. Maria was the loving mother to Elizabeth (Daniel) Marriott, Teresa (Erwin) Gramajo, and (the late) Daniel Castaneda. She was a proud grandmother “Cuca” to Erwin Jr. (Samantha), David Jr. (Leah), Yessi, Erik, and Alex  

She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Visitation, Friday, January 30, 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Funeral Prayers, Saturday, 9:15 a.m., The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park, Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., St. John Bosco Church, 2250 N. McVicker Ave., Chicago. Interment to follow at Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Schiller Park.
