It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luise J Dunham nee Morelli, age 68, on December 22, 2023. Luise passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her departure has left an unfillable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Loving wife to the late Ronald L Dunham; Beloved mother to Lon (Denise Angelilli) Dunham, Kelly Dunham, and Shane Dunham; Cherished grandmother to Nicholas, Dominique, Tyler, JJ, Blake, Devin, and Michael; Great-grandmother to Spencer. Luise was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Joan Morelli nee (Zingarelli). She was a dear Sister, Godmother, Cousin, and Friend. She offered peace and comfort in her home as her door was always open, Luise was like a mother to many.

Her kindness and devotion did not end with her own family, Luise was an incredible woman with a passion for helping families reconnect. She spent her free time helping to build many family trees that will be documented for all the years to come.
Her love for spending time in nature and with her animals was profound, she housed and rescued numerous animals throughout her years. When it came to birthdays or gifts her only request was to send a donation to an animal shelter.
In lieu of flowers we ask for you to consider donating to an animal shelter of your choice, Luise's favorite was ASPCA The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. on January 6th, 2024 at St. Celestine Church, St. Mother Theodore Guerin Parish 3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park, IL 60707 until Mass begins at 10:00 a.m. The family welcomes you to join them in wearing her favorite color, blue.
