Lucas “Luke” Torres, Jr.

Born February 21, 1957, in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. At rest June 11, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 69. Luke was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps whose love of family, sense of humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew him. Known as a prankster and jokester, he brought laughter wherever he went, but above all, he was a loving and caring man devoted to his family and friends.

Beloved father of Lucas III (Rita) Torres, Tanisha Carrasquillo, Ashley, Megan, and Ariel; dear grandfather of Maya, Destiny, Julia, and Isabella; cherished son of Emerita and the late Lucas Torres, Sr.; loving brother of Agueda, Ramon, Tony, Manuel, Maria, and Angela; dearest uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Visitation Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76th Ave.), Elmwood Park, Illinois.

Interment to take place in Cementerio Municipal Histórico de Las Piedras, Puerto Rico.
