Kenneth J. Mlynski

Kenneth J. Mlynski, born May 2, 1939, at rest January 30, 2026 at the age of 86. Ken was a devoted family man whose greatest joy was time spent with those he loved. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served his country with honor and carried that sense of dedication throughout his life. Ken had a lifelong love of golf and enjoyed reading about history, always eager to learn and share stories from the past. He was deeply involved in his community, dedicating many years as a coach for Elmwood Park Little League, where he mentored countless young athletes. A natural builder and craftsman, Ken took great pride in working with his hands and fulfilled a lifelong dream by building his own home in Apple Canyon Lake, Illinois.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Damiane (neé Falsone); loving father of Michael (Joanne) Mlynski, Michele Musillami, Melissa (Don) Bollman and Matthew (Aneta) Mlynski; cherished grandfather of Jonathan (Samantha), Kyle, Troy, Rachel, Madeline, Sophia, Max and Layla; great-grandfather of Skylar and Harley; dearest brother of Joanne (the late Alfred) Boots, Phyllis (the late Al) Marrazzo, and the late Edward Mlynski; brother-in-law of the late Phillip (Janice) Falson; loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, February 2, 2026 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76th Ave.), Elmwood Park. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Kenneth’s name to the Veterans Affairs, Hines Hospital, would be appreciated.
