Joyce P. Smith, 91, loving wife of the late Donald J. Smith Sr.; beloved mother of Donald J. (Mary Ann) Smith Jr., Mary Jean (the late Jerald) Thomas, Carolyn Johnson, Dawn (David) Maday, Charles (Donna) Smith, Bart (Julie) Smith, Beth (Joe) Orr, and Denise (William) Krueger; cherished grandmother of Dana (Stephen), Donald O., Kelly (Nick), Katie (Daniel), Kasey, Victoria (Joseph), Will, Rebecca, Brett (Suha), Nathaniel (Kate), Nicollette (Irving), Matthew, Timothy, Allison (Joe), Daniel (Meghan), Jacob, and Crista; devoted great-grandma of Declan, Mason, Lyla, Ivy Joy, Dane, Charlie, MacKenzie, Maeve, Mallory, and Mila; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; and friend to many.

Joyce was a lifelong resident of Elmwood Park and cherished the library, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elmwood Park Library in her memory.

Visitation, Monday, March 4, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park, IL.

Funeral Prayers, Tuesday, March 5, at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Williams Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.

Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
