Jose W. (Tello) Holguin Diaz nacio en Durango, Mexico un 19 de Noviembre de 1947.
Era una persona muy querida por toda su familia y amistades. Murio un 26 de Julio del 2025 rodeado de su familia. Fue un gran, hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo, tio, padrino y un gran ser humano. Tubo la bendicion de estar casado por 51 años. Sus gustos era estar en Mexico y en Chicago rodeado de su familia. Con mucha fe como Catolico llego a Chicago de 17 años para salir adelante con su familia. Siempre trabajo y disfruto su vida con fe en dios.
Ya dios lo necesitaba y lo llamo. Quedamos con mucho dolor pero alegria de ver compartido nuestras vida con el. Le sobrevive su espoa Ana, su hija Lupe(Lupita), Tello Jr.(Tellin) y su nieto Ryan. Sus hermanos Heliodoro y Toño. Sus cuñados/cuñadas, sobrinos/sobrinas, ahijados/ahijadas, compadres/comadres y mucha familia mas.
Velación, viernes 1 de agosto, de 4:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., Oraciones fúnebres, sábado 2 de agosto, 9:30 a. m., The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park, procesión a la Iglesia St. Cyprian, 2601 Clinton St. River Grove, Misa de entierro cristiano comenzará a las 10:00 a. m., y luego el entierro en el cementerio All Saints, Des Plaines.

Jose W. (Tello) Holguin Diaz was born in Durango, Mexico, on November 19, 1947.
He was a beloved person by his family and friends. He died on July 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was a great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, godfather, and a great human being. He was blessed to be married for 51 years. His favorite things were being in Mexico and Chicago surrounded by his family. With great faith as a Catholic, he came to Chicago at the age of 17 to raise his family. He always worked and enjoyed his life with faith in God.
God needed him and called him. We are left with great pain but joy to share our lives with him. He is survived by his wife Ana, his daughter Lupe (Lupita), Tello Jr. (Tellin), and his grandson Ryan. His brothers Heliodoro and Toño. His brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law, nephews/nieces, godchildren, compadres/comadres and many other family members.
Visitation, Friday, August 1, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Funeral Prayers, Saturday, August 2, 9:30 a.m., The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park, procession to St. Cyprian Church, 2601 Clinton St. River Grove, Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m., interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
