John Anthony Paul Giovenco, age 38, passed away December 20, 2020. He was born February 13, 1982 in Downer's Grove, IL. Beloved son of John Giovenco and Georgia Giovenco; devoted father of Bryce Giovenco; loving husband of Amanda Mashburn-Giovenco; cherished brother of Rachael Giovenco, Preston Giovenco and the late Georgette Giovenco; loved nephew to David, Eileen, Manuel, Mary, Anna, Trino, Elizabeth, Paul, Barbara, Debbie, Rosie, Joanne and Loretta; dear grandson of the late Arlene and John Giovenco and the late Manuel and Manuela (Esquivel) Salas; dear cousin of Jose "Carter" Salas and Jaime "JC" Cajigas and all his cousins.
Visitation will be held from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2020 at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (North on 76 th Ave.) Elmwood Park. And again from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, River Grove, IL.

*Due to current health mandates, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the number of visitors allowed inside the funeral home. Only 10 guests are allowed in the funeral home at a time. Everyone is welcomed, but we ask that you keep your visit short so that all who wish to pay their respects will be able to do so. The coffee lounge is closed; no food or drink is permissible. Please note that all visitors are required to wear face masks to enter the funeral home.*
