John C. Parisi, 87, loving husband of Marion for over 65 years; devoted father of Lisa (Vince) McKenner and David (Laura) Parisi; cherished grandpa of William Parisi; treasured brother of the late Antoinette (the late Maurice) Deprest, the late William Parisi, and Josephine Salzburg; treasured brother-in-law of Helen Parisi and the late James Salzburg; uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

John worked for over 35 years at Illinois Bell, after his retirement he could be found fishing, golfing, and playing cards with his "senior friends". He loved spending time with family, traveling the world (especially tropical locations), and the regular visit to the casino. A favorite memory of those who knew him would be his annual baking and delivery of his Christmas time biscotti. John's patient and loving nature will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park IL.

Funeral Prayers will be on Monday, January 13, 2024 beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home with procession to follow to St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.

Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven in Hillside.
