John Hale "Bub" 63, loving husband of Tina; treasured father of John (Claurissa) Jr. and Tiffany; beloved brother of Sandra and Hank; grandpa of Kelly, and Nevaeh; uncle of Pete and Joey; great-uncle of Carlos, Caira, and Cassandra; pet dad of Jax; and cousin and friend of many.

Some would describe Bub as "funny", "straightforward", and "the nicest asshole you ever met". He grew up obsessed with cars, hot rods, and of course Harley Davidson motorcycles. Bub was a mechanic by trade and was as an Expert Exhaust Specialist. He loved spending time with his family and always made special time for his beloved Gremlin and Angel (his grandchildren). Bub loved classic rock and was a huge fan of the Chicago radio station 97.9 The Loop before it changed music format. While he has left many people who loved him behind, one can imagine him in Heaven on his new Harley motorcycle jamming out to AC/DC, Pink Floyd, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, 2024, at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave, Elmwood Park from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral service to begin at 12:30 p.m. with procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL for interment
