Jadwiga Barbara Jerzyk, nee Malachowski, age 88; beloved wife of Zdzislaw Henry Jerzyk; loving mother of Steve (Susan) Jerzyk, Barbara Jerzyk, Anne (Patrick) Osborne and Julie Jerzyk; dearest Babcia of Lauren (Nate) Campbell, Zachary (Ania) Jerzyk, Alex Jerzyk, Matthew and Katie Osborne; great-grandmother of Sophia, Ariana and Patrick Jerzyk; dear sister of the late Andrzej (Irene) and the late Chris (Marcia) Malachowski; sister-in-law of Theresa (the late Augustyn) Gesior; fond aunt and friend to many.  After emigrating from Poland, Jadwiga earned her degree as a registered nurse in Saginaw, Michigan.  She went onto serve as a dedicated and compassionate nurse at Loyola University Hospital.  Visitation, Friday, from 4 to 9 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W.
