Henry “Hank” Czaja, beloved husband of 60 years to Janet; cherished father of Joyce Baratta, Joseph Czaja, and Jacalyn (Aleksandar) Naffa; proud grandfather of Alyssa, Matthew, Angelina, and Johnny; dear brother-in-law of Gloria White Bonomo and the late Philip White; and fond uncle of many.

Hank was a man who embraced life and the people around him. He was positive and encouraging, an avid reader, a devoted walker, and a passionate sports fan. He was a true Cubs fan who loved Wrigley Field, enjoyed a good conversation, and above all, treasured his family. Most importantly, Hank had a special way of making everyone around him feel loved, valued, and welcome.

Services will be held privately and are entrusted to The Elms Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Hank’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
