Georgia Vratanina, 88, passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2022 in Shawnee, Kansas. She was born on March 31, 1934 in Chicago to the late Peter and the late Eugenia Manos. On August 19, 1960 in Chicago, IL, she married the love of her life Richard "Dick" Vratanina. While her passing leaves a space in our family we know that she is reunited with her cherished Richard once again.

Georgia was the beloved mother of Barbara Ann Vratanina of Shawnee, KS and Richard Vratanina Jr. of New York, NY; devoted grandmother of Cassy Smith of Shawnee, KS, Tyler Smith of Phoenix, AZ and Maya and Mika Vratanina of New York, NY.

Private gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8th, at The Elms Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 11:45 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
