Gary "Ike" Isakson, age 64, a resident of Las Vegas, NV, passed away April 25, 2016.  Gary was raised in Elmwood Park, IL, attended Elm Grammar School and Elmwood Park High School and was active in all sports activities.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Knut "Ole" and Ruth Isakson, a sister, Sharon Lea and a brother, Lee Wayne.  He is survived by his sister, Lynn "Cookie" (Robert) Kirby, of Monterey Peninsula, CA.  Services will be held at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL on Saturday, Sept. 24 ^th at 10:45 a.m. For information The Elms Funeral Home 708-453-1234 or www.elmsfh.com
