Gary John Dobrino, 57 years, of Chicago passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 in River Grove, Illinois.

Gary was born July 28, 1959 in Chicago to the late Tina Francis (nee Manzella) and Michael A. Dobrino. He attended Holy Cross high school in River Grove, Illinois where he helped arrange the first computer lab at the age of 16. Gary continued on to college and graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Illinois. He married Candace Renee Dobrino (nee Maisel) on October 4, 1985 at Westwood Church in Elmwood Park. After college, Gary proceeded with his master's in business from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Gary worked at Illinois Tool Works (ITW), Prince Castle, N.E.C, Unique, Impact, and Microchip Technology Inc. Gary was an exceptional individual who was able to find answers to any question before the years of search engines.

Gary J. Dobrino is preceded in death by his parents Tina Francis and Michael A. Dobrino. Father-in-law, Joseph Jon Maisel and brother-in-law, Phillip Joseph Maisel.

Gary is survived by his wife and caregiver Candace Renee Dobrino. Devoted father to Bree Ana (Richard) Shanas and Adam Dobrino, the pride and joys of his life. Brother to Katherine (Gerry) Harris, Diana Wrona, Michael J. Dobrino, and Ronald (Reyna) Dobrino. Brother-in-law to Sherrie (James) Hanley and Toni (Robert) Becker.

The Dobrino family would like to offer our sincerest gratitude. Gary filled our hearts and will be missed by his family, relatives, and friends.
