Elizabeth R. Carani, 86, of Elmwood Park, passed away August 1, 2024. Loving and devoted partner to the late Robert Gunther; caring mother to Ernest (Barb) Lukacs, Henry (Domenica) Lukacs, Deanna Terranova, Elizabeth (Keith) McKim; proud grandmother "Omama" to Emily (Josh), Ricky (Tiffany), Frank, Michelle, Kassandra (Bryan), Sarah (James), Erika (Shane), Thomas, Vincent (Ana), Anthony, James, Brennen, Hannah; great "Omama" to Domenica, Giuliana, Penelope, Eve, Jack, Victoria, and Jace. She always had a love for gardening, and the cats and birds she called her own were some of her best companions.

Visitation, Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Funeral Service, Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. Elmwood Park, interment to follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
