EDUARDO A. CASTILLO, of Elmhurst IL, passed away on April 8th at the age of 63. He was the father of Daniela, Nicholas, Marisa and Brandon Castillo, grandfather of Luna Sophia, former spouse of Adrienne Castillo, son of Candelario and the late Carmen Castillo, brother of Martha Berg, the late Linda Castillo, Luis Castillo, Maricela Castillo, Diana (Federico) Castillo, Fernando (Justyna) Castillo, Veronica Castillo and Erica Castillo, beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews and a great friend of many.

Eddy was the Locksmith for The Palmer House in Chicago IL. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local #1 where he was known as willing to help anybody at any time. He was a union steward for over 20 years. He was a house captain for Rebuilding Together and also participated in building wheelchair ramps for disabled people.

Eddy enjoyed the outdoors especially being at the beach, gardening, playing soccer, a good cup of Starbucks coffee and reading the Sunday paper. Eddy was a fan of all Chicago sports, but especially the White Sox. Eddy loved his family, being a father, spending time with his kids and making sure their cars were running properly. He especially loved being a grandfather and sharing adventures and macarons with Luna.

Visitation, Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service, 12:00 p.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76th Ave.) Elmwood Park. Interment will be held privately.
