Dolores M. Burdick, Born September 18, 1946, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on February 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Dolores was the beloved wife of Curtis; cherished mother of Scott (Susan), Debra (Joe), Jeff and Douglas (Kelly); loving grandmother of Parker, Austin, Allie, Riley, Benny and Max; dearest sister of Dennis (Susan), Carole (Loren) and the late Joseph (Donna); sister-in-law of Norman (Laura), Wayne (Marilyn), Kelly (Greg) and Kathy; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Dolores was a dedicated, inner-city Chicago Public School teacher. Her dedication to teaching had an immeasurable and positive impact in so many people's lives, both, in and out of the classroom.  When she wasn't teaching, Dolores could be found caring for her garden and enjoying her grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all.   Family and friends are to gather, Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at The Elms Funeral Home 7600 W.
