Dr. David Saul Ehrich Jr. passed away quietly on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. He was 95 years old. He was a loving husband, father and a wonderful and inspiring man.  He touched every who knew him with his love of curiosity and engagement.  He loved reading the newspaper every day and he made sure to share favored sections and clippings with many of his friends and family, long after snail mail was replaced by digital options.

David was born at Columbia Hospital in New York City on February 2nd,1930 and raised in Weehawken, NJ where he played stick ball, basketball and was a contender for the 1946 state championship. He attended Alfred University and was an early admit to Temple University to study dentistry.  He enrolled as a Captain in the Airforce where he was stationed in Tripoli, Libya and Udine, Italy, life changing events that opened his mind to new places, new languages and new ideas.  His passion was a 1954 Austin-Healey Roadster that he drove over 5,000 miles across Europe.  David studied Orthodontia at the University of Missouri, and he was lucky to have a career that he loved.  He practiced primarily at his attached home office in Ridgewood, NJ.

He is survived by his wife Giulia and 4 children Franca, David, Peter and Jerri and grandchildren Jack, Jared, Madison, Drew, Pilar and Miriam and great-granddaughter Domino.
