Daniel L. Schmidt, 57, of River Grove passed away December 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Gancar); proud father of Danny, Ricky, and Jamie; loving brother to Ron, Joe (Linda), the late Tom (Pam), and the late Jerry; beloved son of the late Elizabeth and Ludwig; caring son-in-law to Jean Gancar and the late Richard; cherished brother-in-law to Paula (Vince), Carla (Dan); dear uncle and friend to many. Best friend to Leo Karall; and best bud to his beloved pets Sadie, Weasie, Lexie, Peaches, and Nikko. Dan was a lifelong Blackhawks fan and will be greatly missed by all.
