Cesar Augusto Vargas, 75, of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2023.

Cesar, a native of Guatemala, was born on June 25, 1947, to Guillermo and Nivea. Cesar is survived by his wife; Fidencia (m.1971) and his 6 children; Patricia, Cesar, Nivea (Walter) Cesar Alvarez (Maddie), William (Ashley), and Wendy (Macarena).  He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers; Marco Antonio, Jose Guillermo, Erick Banks.

Cesar was preceded in death by his mother (Nivea) and father (Guillermo) and by his sisters Blanca, Mirian, and brothers Julio and Edgardo.

Visitation Monday, 9:30 A.M. until time of service, 12:00 P.M., at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (turn north at 76 ^th Ave.) Elmwood Park. Interment Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst.
