Carol Ritter, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025.  Loving wife of the late Dick;  mother of Mary Trille, Rick, Anne Cappuccitti and Bill; grandmother of Delaney, Carly, Emma, CC, Katie, Bob and Nick; preceded in death by her parents Vera and Bill Beth.

Carol was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin and raised in the city of Chicago. She graduated from Austin High School and went to work for Motorola, where she met her future husband, Dick Ritter. Carol and Dick lived in Elmwood Park over sixty years, raising their children, volunteering at St. Celestine's and in the community. Carol loved music. Growing up she played the accordion and introduced her children to a variety of musical genres. She gave her children opportunity to grow and express themselves in their own way.

Carol was greatly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She will be missed but live on in our hearts and memories.

Lying in state, Thursday, February 13, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass, 10 a.m., at St. Celestine Church 3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park, IL. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
