Bonnie Jean Zink nee Mick, 76, loving wife of 57 years of James; beloved mother of Pamela (Dr. Edward) Ward, Steven (Maureen) Zink, Michael (Amanda) Zink, and Matthew (Kristy) Zink; cherished sister of Linda Mick, the late LeRoy L (Helen) Mick, and the late Gilbert J. Mick "Gil"; grandmother of Dylan Ward, Sydney Ward, Daniel Zink, Alyssa Zink, Vanessa Zink, Emaline Zink, Lily Zink, Joey Zink, Madeline Zink; devoted daughter of the late LeRoy and Jean Mick; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie Jean was a life-long parishioner of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church. She was confirmed and married at St. Vincent Ferrer. Bonnie Jean married the love of her life in 1965 on a warm and rainy day. She was known for her savvy shopping skills, love of reading, solving crossword puzzles, and watching game shows. Bonnie Jean was devoted to teaching and was a treasured staff member at St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Maria Goretti Schools.

Visitation, Monday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Prayers, Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park, IL to St. Vincent Ferrer for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
