Betsy Nicholas born and raised in Chicago the daughter of Nicholas T. and Golfo Kioutas. Betsy graduated From High School and went on to attend college to earn her teaching certificate. She not only was a teacher but also created children games as well as modeled for the Chicago Auto Show. Betsy entered into marriage to Gus Nicholas and they were Blessed with two sons, Nick and Ted. She went on to be a successful restauranteur and business woman. Betsy was a vibrant, positive, and loving person who's personality and zest for life filled the room. She loved spending time with her family especially Grandson Gus), and life long friends. Betsy was a successful, amazing and accomplished woman.
Betsy passed on November 29, 2020 at the age of 76. She is survived by her sister Kathryn Thanas, sons Nick(Iann) and Ted(the late Christina) and adored Grandson Gus, several nephews, great nephews and nieces as well as cousins. Betsy is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Terry, Steve, Jim and niece Heleen. Due to current Covid-19, services and interment will be Private. A celebration memorial of her life will be planned. Blessed be the memory of Betsy Nicholas.
