IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara S.
Gianfrancesco
December 11, 1940 – July 29, 2025
Barbara "Bobbie" S. Gianfrancesco (nee Lindsey), 84, born and raised in Chicago, and formerly a proud resident of Elmwood Park for the past 30 years, now joins her beloved husband, Peter, in eternal rest. Cherished mother to Kathleen (David) Juran and (the late) Peter Gianfrancesco; proud grandmother of Patrick Juran, Victoria (Nicholas) Rodriguez; fond aunt to many. Bobbie is also preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mable, and her 6 siblings.
Bobbie was a lifelong sports fan, no sport didn't interest her and no matter where she would be traveling she always sought out a sports channel on tv. When no sports could be found broadcasting she would always want to have any John Wayne movie, westerns especially on.
Her career was spent working for Montgomery Wards, starting at age 16, doing entry level work by collating their catalog, working her way up to a corner office in a high rise on LaSalle street over the course of 50 years. She was proud to say that was the only place she ever worked.
